There’s only one Nim. Whichever way you reach it, it’s the same assistant, the same Liminal account, and the same memory — tell Nim something in one place and it knows it everywhere. Money always works the same way too: nothing moves until you approve it.

Surface How you use it What Nim can do there
Liminal app Nim on your phone, in the Liminal app Everything
Nim on the web asknim.ai in your browser Everything — same as the app
WhatsApp Coming soon Message Nim from WhatsApp Checking your money, plus a limited set of actions (send, request, invest, split bills)
Your AI assistant Connect Claude, Cursor, or another AI client over MCP Reads, memory, and actions you approve — see the MCP Server guide
  • Same account. There’s nothing separate to set up — sign in on the web and your balances, transactions, and settings are already there.
  • Shared memory. A preference you tell Nim in the app is known on the web (and vice versa). See What Nim can do → Memory.
  • Same approvals. Every money move — anywhere — creates a confirmation you approve before it happens.

Want your own AI client — Claude, Cursor, and others — to work with your Liminal account? That’s what the MCP server is for. Head to the MCP Server guide to connect one.

The chat on our marketing site can answer questions about Liminal, but it can’t see your account or move money. For the real Nim, sign in.
