Depositing works through a currency-specific account that Liminal opens for you. Once it’s open, you send a regular bank transfer into it from your own bank, and the funds land as your Liminal balance.
Open a deposit account
Section titled “Open a deposit account”- From the Transactions tab, tap Add money.
- If this is your first deposit account, choose a currency — US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Mexican Peso, and Colombian Peso are available today; Brazilian Real is coming soon.
- Review the fee breakdown — deposits, monthly fees, and per-purchase fees are all $0 — then scroll to the bottom to unlock I Agree.
Liminal creates the account — this takes a few moments — then shows a Deposit Account Created confirmation.
