Buying & selling stocks

Invest your balance in individual stocks. The Invest tab has three views: Portfolio (your holdings and performance), Explore (search and browse every available stock), and Activity (your order history).

Finding a stock

1. From the Invest tab, switch to Explore.
2. Search by symbol or name, or tap the filter icon to sort by Market Cap, A-Z, or Gain/Loss, and narrow by Sector or Industry.
3. Tap a stock to see its price chart, key stats, and (if you hold it) your position.

Orders only fill while the market is open. A closed market shows a Market Closed banner with when it reopens, and disables Buy. Sell needs both the market open and an existing position — it stays disabled otherwise.

Buying

1. From a stock’s page, tap Buy.
2. Enter an amount in dollars or shares — toggle between them with the currency pills — or tap Max to use your full available balance.
3. Review the live fee quote and estimated shares, then tap Review Order.
4. Check the order details — estimated price, fee, and total cost — then slide to confirm.

Совет

Orders execute at the current market price, so the actual fill price may differ slightly from the estimate.

Selling

1. From a stock you hold, tap Sell.
2. Enter an amount in shares or dollars, or tap Sell All to close the position entirely.
3. Review the live fee quote and estimated proceeds, then tap Review Order.
4. Check the order details, then slide to confirm.

Tracking your portfolio

The Portfolio tab shows your total value and performance over time, a list of your holdings with gain/loss, and a breakdown of your allocation by stock and by sector. Your Activity tab lists every order you’ve placed, with its status — pending, filled, partially filled, cancelled, or rejected.
