Pix is Brazil’s instant payment network. Liminal lets you pay any Pix code or key from your USD balance (you see the BRL amount, what it costs in USD and the rate before you slide), and receive Pix into your BRL balance, 24/7.
The Pix hub
Section titled “The Pix hub”Open Payments → Pix. The hub shows your USD balance (Pix payments are paid from it) and four ways in: Scan to pay, Pay with key, Paste a code, and Receive. Your recent Pix activity sits underneath.
Paying
Section titled “Paying”- Scan a Pix QR code with the scanner (the scan icon in the header, or Scan to pay), paste a Pix copy-and-paste code, or enter a Pix key (CPF/CNPJ, email, phone, or random key).
- Review the payee. If the code sets the amount it is shown locked; otherwise enter one. You can add a short message for the recipient.
- Check the quote and slide to pay. Confirm with Face ID / fingerprint.
The payment settles in seconds. You get a success screen with the end-to-end ID, and can share the receipt (comprovante) right away.
Receiving and depositing
Section titled “Receiving and depositing”- Open Pix → Receive (or Add money on the hub to deposit your own money).
- Show the QR code, or share the copy-and-paste code or your Pix key.
- To request a specific amount, tap Request a specific amount and set it. The code updates.
Activity and receipts
Section titled “Activity and receipts”See all Pix activity on the hub lists every Pix you sent or received. Tap one for the details, then View receipt to open or share the comprovante as a PDF.
